Le amicizie di CasaOz diventano internazionali! Un tenore americano di fama internazionale con un repertorio che spazia dai grandi Maestri del Barocco sino a Schubert, Schumann e Janáček, William Ferguson, e una pianista nippo-americana trapiantata a Torino dal 2005 che ha debuttato all’età di nove anni con la Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra, Miwa Gofuku: insieme si esibiranno in un esclusivo concerto per un massimo di 80 ospiti, il cui ricavato sarà interamente devoluto a favore di CasaOz.
I due protagonisti interpreteranno Dichterliebe, il più famoso ciclo di lieder del compositore Robert Schumann, scritto nel 1840. Schumann mise in musica 20 canzoni, ma solo 16 di queste furono incluse nella prima edizione. I testi delle 16 canzoni sono tratti dalle poesie della raccolta Lyrisches Intermezzo, di Heinrich Heine. Completeranno la serata brani di Bellini, Hahn e Gershwin.
A fare da cornice all’esibizione, Villa Simeom, dimora storica di inizio Ottocento, votata all’arte ed alla musica, che metterà a disposizione di Miwa Gofuku un pianoforte Kaps costruito a metà 1800, splendidamente conservato, per donare al Dichterliebe di Schumann le sonorità e il fascino della sua epoca originale.
Al termine del concerto, all’interno delle sale della villa e nel verde del suo giardino, in compagnia degli artisti, gli ospiti potranno gustare una cena a buffet, accompagnata da diversi vini piemontesi in degustazione forniti per l’occasione dalle Cantine Beni di Batasiolo, in onore del maestro Ferguson che, oltre a essere un tenore di fama internazionale, è un affermato sommelier e gestisce un’enoteca di grande successo nella città di New York.
