Domenica 26 novembre è stata per i ragazzi di CasaOz una domenica sportiva, passata al PalaRuffini per assisistere alla partita del Basket Torino.
Già in settimana la squadra era stata presso la nostra sede per un momento di gioco, incontro e merenda insieme preparata dai ragazzi del laboratorio di cucina.
Il Basket Torino ha poi regalato ai ragazzi i biglietti per assistere alla partita contro il Juvi Cremona al PalaRuffini di Torino. Prima della partita i ragazzi di CasaOz sono scesi sul parquet con le nostre divise da basket loggate The Wizards, e durante l’intervallo hanno sfidato a canestro Thor, la mascotte del Basket Torino.
Il basket è uno degli sport che proponiamo ai ragazzi e ai bambini di CasaOz. Sotto la nostra tettoia c’è, in tutte le stagioni dell’anno, un canestro da basket e c’è sempre un cestista che gioca.
Crediamo che il basket sia uno sport che insegni a far squadra nella vita, con l’obiettivo di aiutarsi a raggiungere l’obiettivo comune, che è fare canestro. Una metafora potente del nostro stare insieme che cura e che aiuta i bambini e i ragazzi di CasaOz e le loro famigli a raggiungere traguardi che, da soli, sarebbero anche impossibili da immaginare.
