Rosa è venezuelana ed è mamma di una bellissima bambina di 4 anni, Ana. Rosa e Ana sono arrivate a CasaOz a fine marzo dopo un lungo viaggio. È stata la collaborazione di CasaOz con ATMO – Associazione Trapianto di Midollo Osseo – a portarci ad incontrare Rosa e Ana cominciando quella che è diventata una bella storia di accoglienza.
All’inizio Rosa e Ana erano un po’ intimidite ritrovandosi da sole in un luogo nuovo e tanto lontano da casa, ma poi piano piano abbiamo imparato a conoscerci!
La piccola Ana ogni mattina apre la porta della sua Residenza correndo giù per le scale e raggiungendo i nostri educatori al piano terra per giocare mentre la mamma ha stretto amicizia con le altre mamme che vivono la Casa. Rosa ha preso sempre maggior confidenza con l’ambiente della Casa, seguendo gli educatori e i volontari nelle faccende quotidiane e dando loro una mano.
A fine giungo ha avuto inizio l’Estate Ragazzi di CasaOz e Ana ha scoperto tanti nuovi compagni di gioco e tanti volontari pronti a darle il loro affetto e a distrarla dall’operazione che la aspettava.
Rosa e Ana hanno potuto partecipare alle tante attività ed alle gite dell’Estate Ragazzi – vedi anche il Diario dell’Estate Ragazzi sul sito www.demo.casaoz.org – e Rosa ha anche potuto trovare del tempo per se stessa, ad esempio per seguire un corso di italiano, organizzato per lei da CasaOz, o per svagarsi insieme alle altre mamme.
Anche Ana ormai ha imparato un po’ di italiano ed è orgogliosa di dimostrarlo a tutti aggirandosi tra i volontari e i compagni di gioco.
Ancora non sappiamo per quanto tempo Rosa e Ana rimarranno con noi, ma sappiamo di volerle accompagnare in questo percorso.
